About the Work

Existence is a meditation on memory drawn from the stories of three men. Jee Ahn reinterprets their lived experiences through movement, allowing the dancers’ perspectives as men to reshape the choreography. The work moves between retelling and reimagining, making memory physical through the performers’ presence. As the stories are embodied, reframed, and rediscovered, the choreography opens different interpretations of the human experiences shared through their memories.
