About the Work

Body Calligraphy explores how an unfamiliar cultural art form can inspire movement and connection. Drawing on Korean calligraphy, performers engage with its tools and processes, allowing their reflections on writing to become gesture. Projection, paper, and movement shape this exchange between cultural practice and physical expression. Through these elements, the choreography examines how encountering another art form can invite dialogue, imagination, and discovery through the body.
