About the Work

Interwoven is a contemporary ballet about relationships and cause and effect. Beginning with questions of why and how, the dancers developed movement through calling, listening, reacting, leading, and following. Ropes extend and challenge their connections, making tension and communication visible. As each action prompts a response, the choreography follows the changing relationships among the performers and reflects on the fragility and strength of human connection.
