About the Work

Bridal Mask reinterprets Korean court dance through a contemporary exploration of restrained beauty. The choreography translates traditional cultural forms into new movement vocabularies, retaining subtle elegance while creating room for freedom of expression. Through this process, the dancers engage with tradition and transformation, bringing heritage into dialogue with contemporary practice. The work honors the past while opening space for renewal through movement and cultural exchange.
