About the Work
Gong-Myung introduces performers to Pansori, a Korean storytelling music tradition, and explores how unfamiliar sounds and language can become movement. Dancers translate their interpretations into physical responses while black elastic bands extend their exchanges. These bands help them negotiate distance, respond to one another, and build connections. Through shared discovery, the work makes communication, resilience, and the rebuilding of relationships visible while engaging with cultural difference.
