About the Work

Ground in Motion explores how separate spaces become shared through movement. Developed collaboratively with the dancers, the work uses benches as movable structures that alter the stage. As the performers respond to changing distances and one another, boundaries become opportunities for exchange, negotiation, and play.

Presented by MTSU Dance Theatre in the 2026 Spring Dance Concert at Tucker Theatre, the work continues Ahn’s investigation of relationships among bodies and shared space.
